There is multipurpose and really multipurpose! This upcycled wool mix eco print wrap is as flexible as an Olympic gymnast. Along one long side there are 13 button holes and 2 toggles. The toggles are removable so you can use any combination of button holes. Thus you can wear the wrap as a large scarf, a straightforward wrap or you can experiment with the toggle and buttonholes and create any number of styles
Originally manufactured by Cadenza of Italy this lovely coral coloured wrap has been printed with eucalyptus bark collected from trees local to my studio in County Durham. The bark creates a lovely brown contrast abstract print on the gorgeous soft fabric. The versatility of this garment makes it ideal for holiday packing or for just keeping by the door or in the back of the car to cover all those unexpected weather eventualities.
The printing process produces permanent prints that will not wash out or fade. This is a lovely and practical scarf that will fit perfectly in any wardrobe. A unique item that cannot be reproduced. You will have the only version of this wrap that exists anywhere.

Every item that is upcycled has been hand chosen by me and I can tell not only what leaves were used to print it, but it most cases, exactly where those leaves came from.
I am to provide a genuinely sustainable product, that is produced by hand with transparent procedures from the moment the item to be printed is chosen to the moment you hold it in your hands.

45% Wool 25% Viscose 20% Polyamide 10% Cashmere

All items are light and wash fast and have been washed and pressed after dyeing and printing. Hand wash or machine wash on wool cycle at 30C max using a gentle non-bio detergent.
All packages are sent Royal Mail Tracked 48 or DPD Shop to Shop, Shop to Delivery Address can be arranged at a small additional cost. Please contact me if you would like to use this option.

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase but sometimes it doesn’t look quite right, or the fit isn’t what you expected. Buying online is always a little more of a risk than buying in person and we do want to ensure that you love your purchase.
If on receipt of your purchase you decide you do not wish to keep it please first email hello@gilliansmellie.com with details of your order and your reason for return. That way we know to look out for it. Please return it in its original unworn (other than to try on for fit) condition, pack it carefully, preferably in the original wrapping if you have it and return to:

We recommend that you use a tracking service for your return. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Assuming all is well we will issue a refund via the same method you used for payment and send you an email to let you know that the refund has been made.
