Returns & Refunds
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase but sometimes it doesn’t look quite right, or the fit isn’t what you expected. Buying online is always a little more of a risk than buying in person and we do want to ensure that you love your purchase.
If on receipt of your purchase you decide you do not wish to keep it please first email hello@gilliansmellie.com with details of your order and your reason for return. That way we know to look out for it. Please return it in its original unworn (other than to try on for fit) condition, pack it carefully, preferably in the original wrapping if you have it and return to:

We recommend that you use a tracking service for your return. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Assuming all is well we will issue a refund via the same method you used for payment and send you an email to let you know that the refund has been made.
Exchanges
As all the items are one off and unique an exchange is not usually possible. However, if there is another item you would like to exchange for please email us to let us know.
The Revolution Programme
We are trying to make our business as circular as possible. In other words once the materials to make the product you buy enter the production process they remain in the system until the only place for them is the compost bin.
When you buy a textile from me, clothing, accessories, homeware it will come with a guarantee that when you no longer want it, for whatever reason. I will take it back and in return offer you a discount against a future purchase. You are of course welcome to send the item to a charity shop, a friend or sell it but if it doesn’t work for you anymore and you don’t want to sell or pass on, send it back.
